Roaring Lions recover in consolation round after first round defeat

Lemont Furnace- The Roaring Lions of Penn State Fayette faced Penn Sate Wilkes-Barre in a consolation round of the USCAA National Championship Tournament.  Penn State Fayette was able to take control of the game early on and post a 49-35 lead going into the half.  Wilkes-Barre was more efficient coming out of the locker room in the second half, but Fayette was able to hold out for the victory by a final of 96-83.

Fayette was lead by London Hoxie who was able to score 33 points and 8 rebounds.  Other highlighted players for Fayette were Tavian Mozie with 24 points and 1 rebound and Atrayo Matthews with 12 points and 1 rebound.

Wilkes-Barre was lead by Kevin Silverberg who was able to score 24 points and 4 rebounds.  Other highlighted players for Wilkes-Barre included Tomir Gibbs with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Levaugn Soules with 16 points and 4 rebounds.
