Salem, WV- Men's basketball suffered a hard loss on the road to Salem University.
Men's basketball traveled to Salem, West Virginia last night to take on Division II Independent, Salem University. It was a tough game for the Nittany Lions, having a hard shooting percentage and playing down a starter within Torian Jenkins.
Leading for the team was Xavier Boyd with 23 points and Dasilas Jones with 17 points.
Coach Andy Hedrick commented on the game, "We played a division I team to go against better competition. We played well the first 10 minutes, but they wore us down and took over."
Fayette Men's Basketball will continue on the road this upcoming weekend when they take on Penn State Brandywine and Penn State Lehigh Valley.
