Media, PA- Men's Basketball has tough weekend against Penn State Brandywine and Penn State Lehigh Valley.
Men's basketball had a rough loss on Friday night against Brandywine on the road. Fayette was down by 20 points at the half to Brandywine, making it hard for a comeback story in the second half. Fayette lead in scoring just off the second half by 5, but it was not enough causing the final score to be 95-80.
Coach Andy Hedrick spoke about the game, "We played a poor first half and couldn't make up for it in the second half. Javon Watson was a big contributor in our comeback effort the second half."
Despite the loss, Xavier Boyd had a fantastic game for the Nittany Lions, scoring a career high of 28 points and making 12 out of 14 free throws.
