MBB has exciting win on Senior Night

Lemont Furnace, PA- Men's basketball makes senior night exciting.

Fayette men's basketball made senior night a night to remember with a thrilling win against PSU Shenango. Just when fans thought the game was at a loss with a score of 28-11 with 11:31 to go in the first half, Fayette went on a 21-0 run. The men's basketball team showed grit ending the first half with a lead of 50-44. The final score resulted in a 3 point win of 100-97.

Fayette was lead by a well rounded Torian Jenkins, with 16 points 17 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 blocks. Following Torian was Carlton Canaday with 23 points and Dominic Boring with 15 points.

Coach Hedrick commented on the game, "That may have been the weirdest game I ever saw. We were down 18 then up over 20 and then we blew that lead. It was a tribute to the mental makeup of our team to pull it together in the last minute."

Fayette will take on PSU Beaver on Saturday as they continue the path to playoffs.
