Lemont Furnace, PA - The Penn State Fayette men's and women's soccer team hosted the highly touted Penn State Brandywine team Saturday, and the guests left with a 10-0 win.
Despite not getting a shot off in the match, Fayette (0-2 overall, 0-2 PSUAC) battled the whole way and will look to continue to build its new program from the ground up.
Khafren Smith looked best for Brandywine (5-2-2, 1-0) as he finished with a hat trick and two assists while Alex Sydor also recorded a hat trick.
Fayette returns to action Saturday, September 25 and will make program history as it plays its first-ever road match when it heads to Penn State Wilkes-Barre.
Kickoff on Saturday is at 2 p.m.
