Fayette Softball unveils Spring schedule

February 18, 2011--Uniontown, Pa.

 

The 2011 Penn State Fayette Lady Roaring Lions softball team will play 24 games this spring, including 16 within the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference.

 

The season begins Tuesday, March 8, at 4:00 p.m. as Fayette hosts Salem International University at Hutchinson Field in Hopwood, Pa. The PSUAC portion of the schedule commences on Sunday, April 3, at Noon as the Lady Roaring Lions host Penn College of Technology.

 

The non-conference schedule includes match-ups with Saint Vincent College, Point Park University and the University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg.

 

Fayette is coached by Tracy Hawkins, who is in her fourth year at the helm of the Lady Roaring Lions, and plays all of it's home games at Hutchinson Field.
