Coming off a great 2014 season and a PSUAC playoff birth, the Penn State Fayette Lady Roaring Lions plan to continue building on where they left off as they enter their 2015 softball season.
Fayette, along with 79 other university and college teams, traveled to North Myrtle Beach, SC this past weekend to compete in the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic. With a roster of new faces and fresh talent, Head Coach Beth Novotny stated, "[We] came out 0-3 but showed incredible potential for the conference play this year early in the season. This was our first opportunity to be on the field. We took advantage of every minute of it."
The Lady Roaring Lions will begin their PSUAC Conference play on April 1st as they travel to Penn State Mont Alto for their doubleheader at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
