SB wins big against GA

McKeesport, PA- Fayette wins big in game against Penn State Greater Allegheny.

In the first game Fayette came out on fire, scoring 21 runs in the first three innings. Taryn Stewart, a first year player, came up big for Fayette at the mound with 8 strikeouts. Fayette's bats were hot, with every player besides one getting more than 2 hits. Leading the offense was Kylie Stevenson with an outstanding 7 RBIs. Liz Murphy showed her base running abilities with 6 runs for the team. Fayette was able to finish the job in 5 innings, with a final score of 28-3. 

For the second game of the double header, Fayette started off down by 1 run, but that didn't last long. Once again, Fayette's bats took off, scoring 15 runs between the third and fourth inning. First year player, Julie Cooper led the charge with 4 runs, 4 RBIs, and 3 hits. Cooper also showed her diversity by getting 7 strikeouts. Fayette once again finished the game early, with a final score of 19-4. 

Fayette will play Tuesday against WVU Potomac at home for a 2:00 P.M. start time.
