SB has big success vs. Christendom

Front Royal, VA- Fayette has big success over Christendom.

Softball's bats were hot with big wins over Christendom on Tuesday night. For the first game of the double header Fayette had 14 runs heading into the bottom of the fifth to the Crusaders 3. Fayette held Christendom under the ten runs to win the game 14-5. Second year player, Liz Murphy had an amazing pitching display with 6 strike outs over the five innings. Leading on the bats was no suprise with Kylie Stevenson with 3 RBIs, 2 runs, and 2 hits. 

For the second game of the double header Fayette showed dominance by winning 23-0. Fayette scored 8 of their runs in the first inning. Mutiple players showed their talent with Julie Cooper achieving 3 runs, 3 hits, and 5 RBIs, along with pitching 7 strikeouts in the five innings. Taryn Stewart completely matched Cooper with 3 runs, 3 hits and 5 RBIs. Sophia Zalar showed her speed with 6 runs, 4 hits, and 3 RBIs.
