Lemont Furnace, PA- SB drops two to Beaver in hard fought games.
Fayette battled hard against the USCAA ranked Penn State Beaver this past Tuesday. The first game was a hard fought game, with Fayette only coming up short by 2 runs. Sophia had an amazing game with stolen bases, with 4 in the first game, coming up with 2 of the runs.
In the second game, Fayette couldn't keep up with the sixth in the Nation team, losing the game 9-3. Kylie Stevenson led for Fayette with 2 hits and 2 RBIs. This concluded Fayette Softball's season, softball will look forward to next season with 7 out of the 10 players returning.
