DUBOIS—Penn State Fayette's women's basketball team rolled to a 76-58 PSUAC road win over Penn State DuBois behind 29 points from Albert Gallatin graduate Courtney Haines, 15 points from Taylor Smith, 10 points from Laurel Highlands alumnus Haley Moreland.
Fayette led at all three quarter breaks, building a 61-37 lead before DuBois closed with a 21-15 fourth quarter edge.
DuBois was led by Ashley Broen;'s 20 points, to go with 11 from Latascia Shadle and 1- by Melody Young.
Fayette had a 46-40 advantage in rebounds with Smith pulling down 15 rebounds and Kaitlyn Miller grabbing 10 rebounds.
Fayette built a 26 point lead un the fourth quarter, had a 26 to 22 advantage in field goals, and made 21 of 32 free throws compared to 9 of 15 free throws for DuBois.
