Women's Basketball fall to PSU Dubois balanced attack

Dubois, PA- The Penn State Fayette Roaring Lions traveled to Penn State Dubois for a PSUAC conference match-up on Thursday night.  The Roaring Lions were hoping to break their current streak of loses, but did not fare as well as they hoped for.  At the half Dubois had already taken a commanding 45-29 lead over the Roaring Lions and the second half would be more of the same where the final score ended up being 81-52 in favor of Dubois.

The Roaring Lions were led by Haley Moreland who compiled 18 points and 3 rebounds.  Other highlighted players for the Roaring Lions were Kori Whitehead with 16 points and 3 rebounds and Hanna Stockwell with 7 points and 6 rebounds.

Dubois was led by both Melody Young and Morgan Silvis who each scored 12 points.  Other highlighted players for Dubois included Gracie Hamilton with 11 points and 1 rebound and Hope Bridge with 11 points and 8 rebounds as a reserve. 

Women's basketball will be back in action February 3rd as Penn State Beaver visits Fayette for a 1pm tipoff.
