Lemont Furnace, PA- Penn State Fayette was in action on Saturday afternoon as they took on visiting Penn State Dubois on senior day recognizing Haley Moreland. Dubois was able to handle the Roaring Lions in the first half finishing at halftime with a score of 42-40. The Roaring Lions attempted to stop Dubois in the second half, but they had no avail. The final of the game was 81-61 in favor of Dubois.
Penn State Fayette was led by Haley Moreland with 17 points 6 assists. Other highlighted players for the Roaring Lions included Taylor Harbaugh with 12 points and 6 rebounds, and Emily Moccaldi with 10 points and 3 rebounds.
Penn State Dubois was led by Cierra O'Shell with 16 points and 3 rebounds. Other highlighted players for Dubois included Morgan Silvis with 11 points and 5 rebounds, and Hope Bridge with 10 points and 16 rebounds as a reserve.
Women's basketball will be back in action February 12th as they travel to Penn State Greater Allegheny for a 6pm tipoff.
