Lemont Furnace, PA- Fayette women's basketball gets big win over Mont Alto
Fayette has clinched a playoff spot and is able to better their seeding if they continue to win the next 3 games of the regular season.
Women's basketball had a big game against 4th PSUAC West ranked PSU Dubois last night. With senior guard Taylor McCormick back in action scoring 17 pts. Also Daelin Burnsworth had a big game with 17 Pts. The team won in Fayette basketball fashion with a win of 54-44 over Mont Alto.
We were able to interview head coach Scott Hillen and here is what he had to say about the game on Saturday
"The game was an example of our season. Slow points in the game where we didn't play well and high points where we played very well. I am very happy about the outcome and proud of the girls making the playoffs with the limited roster we have."
They will play PSU Shanego Tuesday Feb. 14 home at Fayette where we will be honoring the seniors with Senior Night
