Sharon, PA- Women's basketball has big loss to Penn State Shenango.
Women's basketball lost to Penn State Shenango last night with a final score of 80-51. Fayette was outscored in three out of four quarters, causing an impossible turn around in the last regular season game of the season. Fayette was lead by Taylor McCormick with 20 points, followed closely by first year player Heaven Grumm with 17 points. Although their were offensive highlights, Fayette struggled with personal fouls, having two fowards and a point guard foul out during the game.
Fayette's journey will continue into post season with a quarter final game on the road against Penn State Beaver on Saturday at 2:00 P.M.
