Fayette Host First Home Wrestling Dual

The Penn State Fayette Wrestling team hosted their first home dual match on January 24th. Penn State DuBois, Penn State New Kensington, Penn State Main Campus, and Akron University traveled a long way for an exciting event. With this being the first home dual match, Penn State Fayette was represented by four hardworking and talented athletes. Starting Fayette off with a 3-0 record in 149lbs weight class is Michael Perdomo. Pedro Tavarez that weighs in at 141lbs had a record of 2-1 along with his teammate, Ethan Kenny in the 157 lbs weight class. Not giving up, Matt Nolan fought hard in the 235 lbs weight class finishing with 0-3. These four young men did an outstanding job on Saturday. They will be back on the mats competing February 1, 2015 in Jamestown, New York in the Jamestown Invitational Wrestling Tournament.
