Fayette falls in final tune-up for nationals

Latrobe, Pa. -- Second-ranked Penn State Fayette dropped a pair of matches to NCAA Division III teams on Saturday in the team's final tune-up before the USCAA National Volleyball Championship begins Nov. 10 in Louisville, Ky.

Grove City defreated the Roaring Lions 3-1  by scores of 20-25,25-21, 19-25, 18-5.

The team fell to Saint Vincent 3-1, by scores of 16-25, 25-21, 12-25, 11-25.

The team will awati the pool play assignments for the national tournament. Those pairings are expected to be announced on Tuesday.
