New Philadelphia, OH - After a 3 hour drive, The Lady Roaring Lions fend off Kent State Tuscarawas in a competitive 3 set series, allowing Fayette to bounce back from the heels of a disappointing loss to Carlow University on the previous night.
Winning sets at 25-18, 25-21, and 25-21, the Lady Roaring Lions managed to keep a slight lead throughout the evening. Fayette was lead by kill leaders in Tale (13) and Lewis (11); assist leader, Helmantoler (31); and dig leader, Williams (26).
The Fayette Lady Roaring Lions will be back in action next Wednesday, Sept 14th as their open their home season hosting inter-conference backyard rivals in Penn State Greater Allegheny.
