Bearcats down Fayette 3-0

Lemont Furnace, PA – The Penn State Fayette Volleyball team were defeated 3-0 yesterday against the Saint Vincent College Bearcats in non-conference match-up at the Carey Center. The final scores of the match were 25-7, 25-18 and 25-15.

Penn State Fayette tallied 18 kills and 1 block total. Penn State Fayette drops to 2-3 on the season. This was a great test for the Roaring Lions.

Even though they may have been defeated, Coach Swetz believes there are more positives to take away from this match-up that will help them move forward. The Roaring Lions will be heading to Penn State Beaver this weekend to take on the WPCC-PSUAC Challenge. They will be facing Westmoreland County Community College at 4:00 PM on Friday and Penn Highlands directly after their first game at 6:00 PM. The Roaring Lions finish off the weekend with a match-up against the Community College of Beaver County on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
