Lady Roaring Lions down Kent St Tuscarawas

Lemont Furnace, PA- The Roaring Lions hosted their first home game of the season against Kent State Tuscarawas on Thursday, September 21st at the Community Center Gym.

This match-up was Head Coach Samantha Swetz's first collegiate home game of her career. For the second time this season, the Lady Roaring Lions shutout Kent State Tuscarawas, 3-0. The sets went 25-6, 25-10 and 25-8 in favor of the Roaring Lions. This is the second time this season that the Roaring Lions have not allowed more than 10 points scored against them in this match-up between Kent State Tuscarawas.

Siteri Tale and Morgan Pytlak had 6 kills each. Machaela Hall led the team in assists with 16 and Kayla Barbabella and Chanel Porter both tallied 2 digs. It was a great team effort and a great way to start off the home record. The Lady Roaring Lions have a big conference match-up this Wednesday. They will be facing off against Penn State DuBois at 7:00 PM at the Community Center Gym.
