Lemont Furnace, PA- Fayette sweeps Shenango at home.

 

Fayette came out on fire tonight against Penn State Shenango winning the first set 25-15. Fayette continued to show their dominance continuing with a second set of 25-14 and a close out set of 25-7. Kamden Miller led Fayette with 11 kills, however Madison Richards had an outstanding hitting percentage with .583 and Maria Vanyo was not far behind with a .545. Fayette's hitting percentage as a team was a .273, which was their highest of the season. Fayette will have a big match on Friday with rival Penn State Beaver in Monanca, PA for Beaver's homecoming. Fayette and Beaver went to five sets with Fayette taking it in a nail bitter 16-14. Securing this win will be important for Fayette to stay in second for the PSUAC West.
