Fayette has heart breaking loss to Mont Alto

Lemont Furnace, PA- Fayette has hard loss to Penn State Mont Alto.

Fayette hosted recognition night tonight for the three players that will be graduating, Pasepa Driso-Buwawa, Madison Richards and Abigail Bickerton. Within the first few volleys Pasepa Driso Buwawa was able to accomplish 1,000 career digs. Pasepa is one of two volleyball players in Fayette history two make it to 1,000 digs, the other being the record holder Caitlyn Tavarez with 1,379. Fayette came out on fire the first set, taking it 25-20. Mont Alto took over for the rest of the three remaining sets with scores of 25-19,25-22, and 25-16. Pasepa Driso-Buwawa accomplished 22 digs and 13 kills, Kamden Miller followed with 14 digs and 9 kills and Emma Eckert finished with a respectable 20 assists. 

Fayette will finish up the PSUAC Conference play on the road with Penn State Shenango on Saturday for a 12:00 P.M. start. Next week, Fayette will host their first home conference playoff game in 3 years with to be determined team from PSUAC West between Penn State Greater Allegheny and Penn State Beaver. The game will be a 7:00 P.M. start time on Thursday, October 26.
