Fayette Men's Basketball opens season at CCAC

Lemont Furnace, PA – The 2017-2018 regular season begins tonight for the Penn State Fayette men's basketball. Under new leadership in Head Coach, Kenneth Johnson, and Assistant Coach, Robert Swope, Penn State Fayette looks to make a statement in the first game and start off the season with a victory. Last year, Penn State Fayette men's basketball failed to make the playoffs last year, but still maintained a winning record.

The Roaring Lions have returning players that made big impacts last year. These players include Marvin Sidon, Atrayo Matthews and London Hoxie. These three players will be juniors this year and will take on the leadership role for the Roaring Lions. Sophomore, Jamar Dues, is another returning player that will take on the leadership role and make big plays for Penn State Fayette. 4 freshmen and 1 junior will make their debut tonight for Fayette. The 4 freshmen include Jared Gaddis, Tavian Mozie, John Bristol and Iman Young. Junior, Austin Bittner, will make his collegiate basketball debut.

Tonight, Penn State Fayette will travel to CCAC to play in a non-conference match-up. The game is set to begin at 6:00 PM. Best of luck to the men's basketball team with the start of their season.
