Penn State Fayette softball team will be kicking off the season on Monday, March 21st with a double header against Carlow at home. The first pitch of the season will be thrown at 3:45pm to commence the exhibition games with the second game to follow at 5:45pm. Fayette is excited to announce a new head softball coach this season, Coach Nancy Wheeler, who is also the coach of the incredibly successful volleyball team that has won numerous PSUAC championships under her expertise coaching. This year the team will be welcoming back returning players; Hannah Tarcy (2B), Hailee Brown (UP), Felicia Thompson (CF/P), Miranda Nichols (C/3B), Kelsey Laurine (OF), and seniors Shelby Dziak (C/P/SS), Teri Lewis (OF/P), and Alyssa Strausser (P/3B). The Lady Roaring Lions have a full season of 22 games set up this spring, all double headers, including their six exhibition games. Come out and support the ladies as they kick off their season on March 21st at home on Hutchinson Field.
