Greater Allegheny set to host Fayette XC
Lemont Furnace, PA- After a successful outing at the Wolf Pack Invitational, the Penn State Roaring Lions Cross Country teams will look to Penn State Greater Allegheny on Saturday at 1:00 PM.
The team finished in 2nd place at the Wolf Pack Invitational with Nyoah Marteny, the PSUAC Athlete of the Week, 5th place finish at 18:06 and Aaron Mylan's 7th place finish at 18:08. PJ Savini and Austin Bittner's placements helped the Roaring Lions take 2nd place in the men's division.
The women's team had their best team finish since 2011 with freshman Anna Elko leading the way by finishing with a time of 26:35 and Kirsten Webb finishing with a time of 29:10. The next three weekends for the Roaring Lions will be PSUAC match-ups. The teams hope to continue strong conference performances.
