XC at B-Wine, Kalp finishes First
Media,PA- Cross Country has great finish of regular season at Brandywine.
Cross country competed at a high level at PSU Brandywine this past Saturday. Chloe Kalp won the women's 5k with the next closest female runner to her being 46 seconds behind her. Kalp finished strong with a time of 22:54.5, keeping a 7:23 pace. This is Kalp's third tijme taking a 1st place finish this season for the Lady Lions. Ethan Mates placed a respectable 15th out of 35 male runners, only missing the 14th slot by 9 seconds. Going into PSUAC Invitational Championships next weekend, the men's team is ready by getting their best times this past meet at Brandywine.
Coach Bush spoke about the PSU Brandywine Meet, "Chloe, Ethan and Jake ran an amazing race. All the PSF runners are firing on all 8 cylinders and are ready for the conference [championship invitaional] meet."
The PSUAC Invite Championship will take place on Saturday, October 29 at 10:00 A.M.
